Collection: Class 2 wigs

Class 2 wig: more comfort and realism, with a cap that is largely hand-stitched or contains a portion of natural hair. Since January 2026, it is reimbursed at €350 by Social Security with a prescription, and the remainder, up to €700, is covered by a responsible supplemental health insurance plan as part of the 100% Health scheme.

For a model fully reimbursed by Social Security alone, see our class 1 wigs. All the rules are on our Social Security reimbursement page.

What is a class 2 wig?

It is a full hair prosthesis sold for a maximum of €700, either made of synthetic fiber with a large hand-stitched area (at least 100 cm²), or containing at least 30% natural hair. The cap is lighter and softer for a sensitive scalp: see our comfort index.

Will I have out-of-pocket expenses?

With a responsible supplemental health insurance plan (the vast majority of contracts), no: Social Security reimburses €350 and the insurance plan covers the remainder up to the selling price. We can provide you with a quote to send to your insurance provider before your purchase.

How is this selection determined?

The class is set by the manufacturer for each model. This page brings together models classified as class 2 by authorized retailers and sold by us for €700 or less. The exact class appears on your quote and invoice: if in doubt, call us at 09 60 47 79 02 (Monday to Friday, 9 am to 12 pm) or write to us via the chat, available 7 days a week.
