Before buying a wig
When should I buy my wig?
Hair loss usually begins 15 to 20 days after the first chemotherapy session. We therefore recommend that you choose your wig about ten days before your first treatment, in order to be sure to have it when your hair falls out.
What budget should I plan for buying a wig?
The price of a wig varies between €125 and more than €1000, depending on several criteria:
• The type of hair used: natural or synthetic
• The method of making the hat: handmade or machine made
Is the wig one size fits all?
The standard size of a wig is 56 cm head circumference. An internal adjustment system allows the wig to be adjusted for a circumference ranging from 54 to 58 cm.
What are the different types of editing?
Not all wigs are made the same: they can be hand-tied or machine-tied. Hand-tied wigs are more comfortable and more airy. For more details, see our article on wig assemblies.
What are the differences between human hair and synthetic fiber wigs?
Human hair wigs offer a more realistic look and can be styled like regular hair, while synthetic fiber wigs are often more affordable and require less maintenance.
What is lace front or cinema tulle?
The lace front is an invisible micro-skin border that creates the illusion that the hair is growing directly from the scalp, providing a very natural look and making your wig virtually undetectable.
Will anyone notice that I'm wearing a wig?
No, because the quality of synthetic fibers has evolved a lot in recent years, now offering a very natural effect to your hair prosthesis.
Will my wig stay in place?
Yes, because the internal adjustment system at the nape of the neck allows the wig to be perfectly adjusted to your head size. If, despite this, the hair prosthesis remains slightly too big, we advise you to add a stitch for an optimal fit.
Can I wear a wig all day?
Yes, you can wear a wig all day long. Just make sure you choose a wig that fits well and is comfortable, and remember to take breaks to allow your scalp to breathe.
After purchasing a wig
Can I style my wig like my natural hair?
Yes, but it depends on the type of wig. Human hair wigs can be styled like your own hair, while synthetic wigs require special care. Use the right tools and products to avoid damaging the fibers.
How do I store my wig when I'm not wearing it?
When not wearing your wig, store it on a stand or in a box to preserve its shape. Avoid folding or compressing it, and make sure it is clean and completely dry before storing.
Can I wear my wig in all weather?
Yes, you can wear your wig in all weather conditions without any contraindications. Thanks to an internal adjustment system, your hair prosthesis fits perfectly to your head circumference, thus guaranteeing optimal support.
Can I keep my wig in the shower?
There is no contraindication to wearing your wig in the shower, but we advise you to remove it so that you can wash your scalp for better hygiene. In addition, hot water could damage the synthetic fibers of your wig.
Can I sleep with my wig?
We do not recommend sleeping with your wig on, as this can not only be uncomfortable but also damage it. At night, we recommend wearing night caps, which are specially designed to protect your hair.
What should I do if my wig is losing hair?
Some hair loss may occur over time, especially if the wig is handled frequently. If shedding becomes significant, consider consulting a professional for maintenance or repair.
How do I care for my wig?
To wash a synthetic hair wig, use a shampoo specially designed for synthetic hair, diluted in cold water. To soften and protect the fiber, we recommend applying a balm and conditioner.
If your wig is made of natural hair, opt for a shampoo and moisturizing treatment suitable for very dry or colored hair.
How long will my wig last?
The lifespan of a wig depends on its quality and maintenance. In general, human hair wigs last longer than synthetic fiber wigs. With proper care, a wig can last several months to several years.
How often should I wash my wig?
We recommend washing your wig once a week if you wear it daily. Of course, this is an average; you can adjust the washing frequency depending on your usage and the season.
When should I stop wearing my wig?
Listen to your personal needs and preferences. Everyone is different, and it's important to do what feels right for you. If you have any doubts, don't hesitate to write to us for personalized advice.
Will wearing a wig slow down my hair growth?
As long as you choose an appropriate wig and take care of your scalp, wearing a wig should not slow down your hair growth. If you have specific concerns, it is advisable to consult a healthcare professional or dermatologist.
Can I return my wig if it doesn't fit?
Please see our return policy for specific conditions. Generally, wigs can be returned if they are in perfect condition and unworn.
Payment
Is my payment information secure?
Yes, all your payment information is protected by SSL encryption and processed through secure payment systems.
What happens if I have problems paying?

Can I use multiple payment methods?

How do I pay with PayPal?
If you choose to pay via PayPal, you will be redirected directly to the PayPal website at the end of your order.
Noticed :
In case of return of item or cancellation of your order, the refund will be made to your PayPal account. You have the possibility, in the settings of your PayPal account, to request a transfer of the amount to your bank account.
If your PayPal account is closed, we reserve the right to refund to your bank account. Please note that it is not possible to select another PayPal account for the refund.
How to pay by credit card?
You can pay by credit card with the following payment methods:

- Bank Card
Noticed :
A pre-authorization amount may appear on your credit card, but you will not be charged until your order has been shipped.
In the event of a return of an item, the refund will be made via your initial payment method.
If your order is cancelled, the pre-authorization amount may remain visible on your credit card statement. Depending on your bank, this update may take up to 30 days.
Delivery
What are the delivery times?
Delivery times are given as an indication:
• For mainland France: 5 to 8 working days with So Colissimo after receipt of your payment.
• At Relay Point: 6 to 10 days.
What happens if I am not there when the delivery is made?
If you are not there when the delivery is made, a delivery notice will be left in your mailbox. You can collect your parcel from the nearest post office.
How long is the package kept at the Post Office?
Packages are held pending at the Post Office for 15 calendar days. If you do not collect your package within this period, it will be returned to Rose comme Femme.
What happens if I don't collect my package?
In the event of non-collection within the time limits set by the carrier, the products will be returned to Rose comme Femme, which reserves the right to refund the price of the products only. Shipping costs will remain the responsibility of the customer.
Can I track my order?
Yes, after your order is shipped, you will receive an email containing a tracking number that will allow you to follow the progress of your package.
